When reporting a problem, it helps to include your device model, your Android version and what you were doing when it happened.

Does the app need internet? No. Sekine makes no network requests at all. Everything works in airplane mode.

Where is my data kept? Only on your phone, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded and we never see it.

How do I delete everything? Settings → Reset all my data. Uninstalling the app also removes everything.

Can I move my data to a new phone? Not yet. Because nothing is synced to a server, records stay on the device that created them.

Why is there no recitation audio? Deliberately. We do not use synthetic voices for remembrance phrases, and we do not bundle third-party recordings. The app's sound is a soft counting tone plus optional ambience and rhythm, all generated on your device or taken from public-domain percussion samples.

The app is silent — is it broken? No. Silent accompaniment is the default, out of respect for people who prefer no music with dhikr. Open a session, tap ♪ at the top right, and choose a rhythm or raise the ambient tone.

Can I change the target count? Yes. Inside a session choose 33, 99, 100 or 313. The ring and the completion chime follow whichever target is selected.

Which languages does the app support? The interface is available in English and Turkish, selectable in Settings.

Are there ads or subscriptions? No. The app is entirely free with no advertising and no purchases of any kind.
